Training and Development

We are committed to the ongoing development of our team members. We want each and every person of our team to reach their full potential, ensuring their career goes in the direction they choose. 

We offer a wide range of training and development opportunities, and continually improve our service by offering constant support to our employees

Induction - All our staff completes an induction, which provides them with a valuable introduction to the company, our nursery, and their specific role. 

At the end of the probationary periods, a personal development plan is formed with the support of the Nursery Manager, and this then creates the basis for further training and progression within the company.

Our nurseries work closely with external training providers who regularly visit the nursery for trainings.  All our staff benefit from open communication channels, with monthly staff meetings, room planning meetings, one-to-one meetings and an annual appraisal scheme.

Training opportunities- We provide an excellent range of training opportunities to help managers and staff build on their existing skills and learn new ones. These include:

  • Internal training courses and conferences
  • Management development courses
  • External courses and conferences – with London Borough of Redbridge and other training Providers
  • 'On the job' training
  • Personal development plans
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • The sharing of best practice

 Each Staff member gets staff login on the staff portal which gives them access to various online courses and good practice guide. All the training handouts are also available on the staff portal for the staff to use.
